Our Mission
In the name of Allah the beneficent the merciful
Praise be to Allah, (i.e. GOD), & peace and blessing be upon his messenger
Muhammad, and upon all the Prophets before him.
ISG’S Vision
The aim and purpose of the Islamic society of Greenville (ISG) is to serve
the Cause of Allah (Subhanahu wa Taala) and to establish Islam and Muslims
community in Greenville, S.C. according to the Qur’an and Sunnah (that is the
holy book and the teaching of the prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
Mission
ISG’s mission is to provide a unified platform of expression for Islam, to
develop educational, outreach and social services that translate the teachings
of the Qur’an and the Sunnah into everyday living, and to enhance Islamic
identity in society.
Objectives
- To promote unity and joint action amongst Muslims.
- To conduct social, cultural, religious, and other activities in the best
tradition of Islam.
- To arrange and hold congregational prayers and Islamic religious festivals
at appropriate times.
- To promote friendly relations between Muslims and Non-Muslims.
- To provide information about Islam to the Non-Muslims.
- Assist communities in nurturing strong and stable Muslim families by
promoting youth activities aimed at socializing and training youth about Islam
and their future leadership role
(ISG) shall be non-profit organization. The purpose of it shall be to help
encourage and enable Muslims with basic knowledge of Islam and to meet the needs
of all mankind individually and collectively.
